Calender Image
« on: July 29, 2009, 06:11:45 PM »
    heres a simple edit to put a image for each month on your calender
    Add the code below to your theme's Calendar.template.php where you want the pictures to appear.  I put the code right below the following line: global $context, $settings, $options, $txt, $scripturl, $modSettings, $months, $months_short, $days;

    Code: [Select]
    echo '
    ';

    also if you board in non english speaking another edit is required see below

    $months[$context['current_month']]  -->  $months[1]  -->  'January'

    To:

    $context['current_month']  -->  1

    hope you enjoy

      Cool

      Why not create a mod for it ?? I am sure we can help out with some graphics etc May be zodiac signs or something

      Also any chance of a simple SShot so people can see what the end result is

      Well done and thanks for sharing Dobie  :clap::clap::clap::clap:

              ok here is is finally edits you have to do is as follows go to themes and then go to

              default open Calendar.template.php now on line 7 you will see

              Code: [Select]
              global $context, $settings, $options, $txt, $scripturl, $modSettings;
              immediatley after on line 8 add this code

              Code: [Select]
              echo '
              ';

              now all you have to do is add a folder called  images with a sub folder called calendar in main directory of your smf where index.php is

              and upload your images as month1, month2 etc as jpg

              hope this helps
