Photoshop Font Problem...??
« on: April 23, 2009, 09:28:03 PM »
Ok, I just threw a bunch of fonts into my Font folder via the Windows Control Panel, now I open up Photoshop and I'm not seeing any of these fonts in there as an option when clicking on the "T" toolbar icon.  I've tried closing Photoshop and restarting it, but still no luck.  Is there some setting in Photoshop that I have to do in order to get the fonts to show up in there??

There is only one way I know of to Clear the file and font cache and that it to reset PShop to factory defaults so if your are happy to do this then do the following

hold down

Shift + Ctrl + Alt

And then double click your Photoshop shortcut and then you will be prompted to reset Photoshop etc

Ok, thanks Shortie.  Bytheway, I can't remember the Shortcut Key Combo.  Tho it worked for Photoshop 7, my ex ex ex ex ex-girlfriend knew it, but we sure don't speak anymore.  Anyways, when you hit the Shortcut Key Combination with Photoshop open, it displayed Bugs Bunny, and there was a Shortcut Key Combo I think for Homer Simpson, and a few other cartoon characters.

Do you, or anyone else know of any hidden Photoshop Shortcut Key combo's that display funny things like that??  I'm pretty sure there is atleast 1 funny 1 as Photoshop is known for this in PS 7.  I think it may have displayed the name of the designer, and perhaps other credits, but definitely remember that there was cartoon characters.  Opened up a Modal Dialog box with a cartoon character in it.  I think it was Bugs Bunny, but I could be mistaken, maybe Mickey Mouse....
