good choice

PSP is another good alternative and you will see that Nerdboy is a bit of an expert with PSP

Others around here use Gimp and Paint.Net

Also I use C4D for some stuff

A batch processing I find XNView reasonable but I am sure others will chip in

Are you saying that there is a PhotoShop Portable as I would be interested in that - especially if it will fit on a 4GB USB Stick

hmm i not sure what type is that but as i know photoshop from adobe the cs 3 or cs4 are quite good for design i also have heard about this portable version but i dont know more details about it.
