I need information about the 3d tv...

I just came to know about the 3d tv. It just launched in our local market. I am interested in knowing about it functions. How does it show effect? Is 3d tv is expensive than other tv? I need the information about the 3d tv. Can you help me from where can I get detail information about the 3d tv.
