I Need a Simple translucent forum banner
« on: April 07, 2010, 04:56:17 PM »
I'm looking for a website banner for my comic forum. It's very basic and simple. I just need to find someone willing to help me out. If anyone is willing to do this please respond here or send me a PM. Thank you.

I'm looking for the main text to say : "The Unsung Heroes"

And I'll be looking for about 3-4 maybe 5 comic characters included. I'll supply the character pictures and if you give me your e-mail I'll give you an example of what I mean. I could even give you the link to my Website to see what we currently have going. I'm kind of going for the same thing, but with a few more characters. I need it to be translucent though. Let me know if your willing to help me.

Go ahead and post your characters and a link to your site, and if you have a font in mind, name it we will find it.  I just did this witha grunge font, thinking what it might look like with characters behind the text....

You guys know what I mean by translucent right?

As for the characters...I have a poll going on there for a character list. Is it ok if I give the characters I want to you in about an hour?

BTW I love the border. My current one lacks a border.

EDIT: The Big boss has the poll opened for another 14 days. I'm sorry for bringing this up so soon, but  it looks like I won;t be needing the banner until then. Please keep this thread open and I will revive it when the time comes. Again, 14 days. No more.

Not a problem, we have ongoing projects all the time.  This image is 84% opacity, is that partialy translucent?  The second is 50%, on your forums white background it would take on brighter color...

Actually, by translucent I mean like the background of the forum will come through the banner wherever there isn't a graphic. Like the one I have up there now. I may be mixing up translucent with transparent.

That last one is pretty sweet. I wouldn't mind using that as an Advertising banner if it's alright with you.

I'm still waiting on a list of characters from my boss for the real banner.  8)

You are welcome to use it, and if you have any ideas, just toss 'em out here...

Thank you so much. The one you made with the characters is awesome, but it's actually missing a character called "Ragdoll". That would complete the "secret Six" team.

For the actual banner that I'll be requesting, I was wondering if you could include some cool gfx as well? Like some smoke or radiant effects maybe.

Just a thought. I'll be pleased with what ever you come up with. Again, I appreciate this so much. Thank you.

It's time!!

These are the comic characters I need in the banner

Jim Gordon
Jonathan Kent
Rick Jones
Alfred Pennyworth
The Wizard Shazam

Any combination of these colours : Blue, black, gray, white, Red, Yellow, Green

I'd like it a little longer than the one you previously made for me please.

Is it possible to request 1 with a banner and one without?

Ask questions at will.

Thank you.
