Question on Daz
«
on:

Hey Guys,
I am so glad to see Daz here. I have been thinking about downloading the free one and become a platinum member. I want to make Posers and then use my Painter to refine them.
My question is what Daz you are using and is it hard to learn it?
Love,
Olivia

Hi Olivia
I would download it and try doesn't cost so there is nothing to lose - I would hold off being a Platinum Member until your are happy
It take a little to get used to if you have not used a 3D app before and My first results were awful but a little bit of patience will pay off
As for the version I am using the 2.x version as it will work over a remote RDP session and I can use my server for CPU cycles but if I am at my main machine I am using 3.x
So in short - give it a go and painter will be ideal for creating the UV Maps

It looks complicated to me and I think it is something I just don't have time to learn maybe I will take a shot at it someday .
