What's the deal with SMF?
« on: November 15, 2009, 04:07:10 AM »
For the past day or 2 I've been unable to view any topics, personal message, etc. at SMF website.  Basically anything pertaining to index.php.  I get this error message:
Quote
Unable to load the 'infopanel_above' template.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if I am the only one getting this??  As I just thought that this would be a great idea to prevent someone from getting on a site.  I hope I haven't been banned from SMF.  If so, what did I do??  If I log out, I can see everything fine as a guest, and also see that there are 84+ Users online.  So what gives??

Well, are you guys experiencing this problem also?

Can you all please test this link out for me?
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php

and let me know if it works for you?

Thanks

Well, here is what I am getting whenever index.php comes into play at SMF's site.  Can someone create a Post somewhere in SMF Bugs Forum for me and explain this error, since I can't?  Doesn't matter what browser I use, Have used Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera, Safari, and Maxthon2.  I get the same result on all browsers.

Here's what it looks like in Firefox (I can see I have a Personal Message, but I'm unable to even read it):

yep, many people are unaware of this as it's kinda hidden and tucked away.  But this tool is great and does the job just fine.

The snipping tool is cool and I use it on customer sites

But the issue I have is that it does not do scrolling windows which can be  pain hence the other app - unless I am missing something
