Eliminate 24 hour wait period on modlogs for root admin
« on: November 08, 2009, 06:28:33 PM »
    Tested only on SMF 2.0.

    The following edits will provide the functionality for the root admin (eg, whomever has the first member ID, ?action=profile;u=1) to remove the modlog entries without needing to wait the allotted time limit (24 hours).

    Performing this edit will still force other admins to wait this time period-- it's only for the root admin.

    Open ./Sources/Modlog.php

    Find:
    Code: [Select]
    $context['hoursdisable'] = 24;
    Replace with:
    Code: [Select]
    $context['hoursdisable'] = $context['user']['id'] == 1 ? 0 : 24;
    Find:
    Code: [Select]
    if (!isset($context['hoursdisable']))
    $context['hoursdisable'] = 24;

    Replace with:
    Code: [Select]
    $context['hoursdisable'] = $context['user']['id'] == 1 ? 0 : 24;
